Audit on SDGs implementation preparedness looks at government efforts relating to central government planning and budgeting processes, as well as data measurement design. The audit covers the Ministry of National Development Planning, Ministry of Finance, and Statistics Indonesia. The audit was conducted at the national and subnational levels to assess horizontal and vertical coherence. The time scope of the audit was the government activities from January 2016 to the first semester of 2018.

The performance audit will assess the activities that the Solomon Islands Government put in place since September 2015 to 2017 regarding the preparedness for the 2030 Agenda. The audit will further verify the actions at the national level that is all line ministries that are involved in the SDG including Donor partners, Non-Government Organisations, Civil Societies, Private Sector, Faith Based Organisations and marginal groups.

Jamaica’s adoption of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in 2015 reinforced the country’s commitment to the goals of its Vision 2030 Jamaica - National Development Plan (NDP) developed in 2009, which seeks to make Jamaica “the place of choice to live, work, raise families, and do business”. An assessment of Jamaica’s national planning documents by the Planning Institute of Jamaica (PIOJ) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) revealed that Vision 2030 Jamaica - NDP, the MediumTerm Socio-Economic Policy Framework (MTF) and sectoral policies are 91.3 per cent aligned with the SDGs.

The scope of audit was the 2030 Agenda, in particular in Poland the audit assessed the actions put in place by the Minister of Economic Development since September 2015 regarding the preparedness for the implementation of the 2030 Agenda with special focus on the strategic project “Actions package for medium-sized cities that lose socio-economic functions”. The audit covered the Ministry of Economic Development, presidents / mayors of selected medium cities losing socio-economic functions and the President of the Central Statistical Office.

The audit covered the period September 01, 2015 to March 31, 2018 and the International Standards of Supreme Audit Institutions (ISSAI) issued by the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI) guided how we conducted the audit. The audit sought to determine the actions taken by the Government of Saint Lucia since September 2015 to prepare for the implementation of the 2030 Agenda. The audit verified what actions the government took at the national level and did not analyse the level of implementation of SDGs within the country.
